Thinking of Reporting to the Police?

The decision to report can be a big one.  For some people it will be really important to them and for others it may not be a step they want to take now or ever.  What is most important is that you make the decision that is best for you.

If you want to report there is information and support out there for you…

If you would like to know about what happens when you report go to our Police procedures page click here: Police Procedures

If you would like to talk to someone about reporting you can talk to an Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) who will be able to help.  You can find out more about them at https://www.hertssarc.org/

For more in-depth information on the report to court support, you can read the Rights of Women,
“From Report to Court:  A handbook for adult survivors of sexual violence”.  Click here: Rights of Women”
